Character Story Development Session – Dungeons and Dragons 5E

You’ve done it. You cracked open the Player’s Handbook, selected your race and class, and rolled up your first Dungeons and Dragons character! Now it’s time to tackle a fun part: developing the character. What are the known facts about this character’s history and quirky facets of their personality? Are they a hero, villain, or some morally grey being in between? Are they deathly afraid of free range chickens or do they have a fierce competitive streak that disrupts every nice night at the tavern? What is their backstory, and does it match their character level?

Join us in LHUCA’s Graffiti Building for a Character Story Development Session, part of the Roleplay at LHUCA program! Character creation is a big part of any tabletop roleplaying game, but getting started can be daunting. Whether you want to be a Half-Elf Rogue, a Tiefling Warlock, or a Dragonborn Fighter, Roleplay at LHUCA is here to help!

Brian Burns, one of LHUCA’s Roll Initiative Game Masters, will go through the ins and outs of character creation in the system of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition. Attendees will go through the process of developing a character backstory, including determining character ideals, bonds, flaws, and alignment.

Don’t let the character sheet stop you from adventuring! Come by the Graffiti Building and level up your roleplaying game with this fun Character Development Session on May 11th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
