Acting Through Improvisation

Whether you want to become a professional actor/improviser, develop your own content and characters, or gain more confidence in public speaking, Intro to Improvisation is for you! Step out of your comfort zone and learn to say “yes and” to endless possibilities.

This month attendees will learn about Character Development in Scene Work. During the session attendees will:

• Practice letting the scene and their scene partners inform their character impulses
• Work on establishing a collaborative scene
• Incorporate music and other environmental factors into character development
• Train impulses by listening and responding
• Explore using physicality in scene work

Learn how to let go of your inhibitions while challenging yourself in a fun environment! Ages 15+, Saturday session offered for free as part of Weekends at LHUCA.
