EVA, the international supergroup will perform at LHUCA
on Saturday, March 4th at 7:30pm.

Featuring breathtaking voices with roots in Australia, Ireland, United Kingdom and U.S., EVA performs a seamless mix of traditional and contemporary original folk music. Kath Buckell, Liz Simmons and Nicole Zuraitis lend their three distinct voices to songs that meld worldly sensibilities with time-honored musical traditions. “Their powerful three-part vocal harmonies are bedded on the textured landscape of guitar, piano, and percussion.”
Hannah Read, born and raised in Scotland. Now based in Brooklyn, NY, Hannah Read is a versatile musician widely recognized on the International stage. She is known for her fiddle playing, songwriting, composing and was recently described as one of “the finest singers of the day” in the UK’s MOJO magazine. Nicole Zuraitis is a Brooklyn-based vocalist, songwriter and pianist. She has been praised by the Hartford Courant as having "an emotive voice with seductive warmth," and Jazz Inside Magazine says her voice is "hard to ignore... remarkable range... you can't help but stop and take notice." Liz Simmons grew up listening to her mother sing traditional songs from Ireland, Scotland, England and America, as well as the New Orleans brass music her father plays. Since then, she has developed a vocal and guitar style that draws from her musical history in folk, roots and ballad traditions, and she has also become a respected songwriter.
