Explore the Life and Work of Andy Warhol
with Christian Conrad
Few names resonate so closely with the idea of contemporary art than does the name of Andy Warhol, an artist who has influenced many aspects of contemporary art, from film to painting and beyond. Warhol’s work examines contemporary culture and helps redefine what art “is” in modern society. Join us for a discussion of Warhol’s work, examining the diversity of mediums he used in addition to the many artists he influenced.
Saturday Lectures at LHUCA is an informal conversation over the life and work of contemporary artists. It’s a stress-free opportunity to examine the art and ideas that underlie much of the modern art world. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, join the conversation, and even bring examples of their own work. If you love art, join us!
