 Kelsang Chondzin

Kelsang Chondzin is an American Buddhist nun and is the Resident Teacher of the Bodhichitta Kadampa Buddhist Center in Lubbock, Texas. 

"What is Meditation?"

This talk will explain the nature of meditation, how to meditate, and give two short guided meditations. The first will be a classic meditation, used in Tibetian monasteries, for calming the mind  It has a very easy structure.  The second will be one of the twenty-one essential meditations synthesized from Buddha's teachings by the great Indian master, Atisha, in the eleventh century AD.

 

This event is free to the public but donations are welcome.
Chairs will be provided or bring your yoga mat.
